Bon j'ai une petite fleme de traduction là, mais voilà ce qu'il s'est passé pour callie, ceux qui y ont assisté, on vu que c'était super agité après la naissance.
Le proprio donne un peu d'explication ;)
yes, sort of did happen like that.. it was the fastest foaling EVER in all my years. He did not even get a a chance to pop a hole in the sac. All but the actual placenta came out attached to "Keno" including most all of his VERY thick blood filled cord... I had to tie off his cord and snip it as it was firmly attached to lots of ...
the placenta is far, far in Callie so she has been given something to help her through pain and we've got a tie attached to her placenta as well so that it does not get lost inside of her again... as it was, the vet had to go find a piece to dangle out of her. Hoping she can pass it without trouble...
This boy is GIANT.. I mean crazy BIG.. I am on the tall side and he is at my waist without unfolding. He is pleasantly marked and as some have said.. FULL OF BLING
We will call him Keno .. a name I picked for our first colt this year and as it turns, he is covered in coins (bling if you prefer) His Reg. name will be DS Makeen which means Strong.
Le poulain s'appelle Keno :D

Callie is looking much calmer now. I assume she passed the placenta?

yes, I was just out there retrieving it and inspecting it.. all looks good. She is hungry and Keno is also doing superbly! I measured him while there too.. Keno is 44+ inches from wither to ground.
