Did any of you watch the Eurovision yesterday?
I watched it with some British and Swiss friends and the performance of France together with the fact the woman announcing French votes did it exclusively in French (when all the other countries made the effort of doing it in English) made me feel ashamed of being French. |

It will not help with the fact that every country thinks french people NEVER speak english...we're so bas at it!
When I went to Sweden, one evening, my family was babysitting a eight years old young girl. She spoke english better than me
We're such a bad country to learn english, compared to the rest of Europe...
And me too, I often speak to me in english in my head. You're right girls, it's more easy, especially when you just watched a movie or read a book in shakespeare's language
But for me, it's more because I don't really need words to express myself inside, rather than because I find it easier to speack english than french. And fortunately, because I doubt that everything I'm sayng to myself in english actually means something
because it says just about anythings.
