My parents wanted to move and houses are very very expensive in England, and they realised with the same money, they could get a much bigger house in France, with some land ! As my father worked at home, it didn't make a difference to him, and I mum didn't mind commuting with her job, so we moved to France. She also wanted to get away from her family

Kitties are always cute!
Except my cat... She was physically cute when she was a kitty but she was very bitchy ( your food is mine... and your hand too... And your spirit, your mind(s), your sleep, and the cleanliness of your sofa!) 
And she doesn't like Black Sabbath... But I love her

| | Physically, my cat was not as (so) cute as your pictures. She had so/such big ears  So, during her first year, she was very pretty but year(s) after year(s), she becomes more and more fater/fatter and fatter 
(when using a comparative you cannot join "more" and "...er", it's one or the other.)

Stop being so harsh on yourselves
I understand what it's like to have a fat cat... Our cat used to be 11kg !!!! But he's a huge cat, bigger than our dog !
