I am found of English.
Unfortunately, I'm not totally bilingual.

That is why I am trying to communicate with others people in English.



So, I open this subject. I would like here we speak only in English.
Therefore, the forum rules will apply.
Good humor, advice to improve ourselves in the practice of this language are welcome here.
And of course, google translator is totally prohibited because it says just about anythings.

Hello girls ! or boys ?
How was your day ? Mine was quite good, I teached for four hours and my pupils were pretty quiet so it was ok.
Then I walked my dog for an hour and now is the time for working... but it's much more fun to hand on cheval annonce !!

Thank you, Djebel for what you said, it really pleased me I would like to improve my accent now but it's not easy to find opportunities !

Yesterday was fine, I had a driving lesson and I went on a "high-speed road" for the first time !

klavel I teach french in ... middle school ? Maybe djebeldesierra will help with the exact translation of "collège" ?
Anyway my pupils are 11 to 15. Last two years, I was in highschool It's not always easy but I love it. What about you ?

I remember my first driving lessons, I was absolutely terrified by the highway, so I understand ! How long have you been learning how to drive ?
I have a little jack russel, Iris !

Indeed, your job is not always easy, but I think it's interesting when you like it!
I have good memories of my french lesson in college ( excepted the grammar... My black beast!) and I love some books studied in it and in highschool...
Also, I have passed a literaly graduate in 2014
My studies during this year are not what I really want: now I work for an exam in May 2015 and I do voluntary work in an associative restaurant the morning

One of her kidney's dead, the other one is dying so she's under morphine at the vet but we should have her at home this week-end

I've been learning how to drive for a few weeks now which is why I have my last hours today (I'll be in "conduite accompagnée" (traduction ?) tomorrow !). But I'm studying French right now, I have the "bac blanc" next week !

About "collège", there isn't a correct translation. 2 options:

- 'collège' + explanation depending on the people you're talking to
- french equivalent of secondary school/middle school (+ age groups to make it clear)

'high school' is american, english people wouldn't always understand. So it really depends on who you're talking to

I have always ear than "high school" is for "lycée in english of England lessons ( huuu, what I writte is very strange... Do you know what I mean? I wanna say "the english speaked in England but not in America")
Then...What's the good word for "lycée" ?

No one is bilingual, here, except Djebeldesierra! I'm not good in english, my oral for the graduate was like the Malouine's war: terrible! And my grammar is like Patrick Sébastien: incredible by his nullity
But I try, I have nothing to lose but a lot to win!

As a matter of fact, most people say I'm bilingual too as my mum's English, reason why I have a British accent when I talk English. But I still feel like I have a lot to learn !
