I have an English sentence in a tattoo too ^^
I didn't have any problem with my parents about that, actually my mom did a tattoo before me and she paid all or a part of my tattoos!

kisara Yeah I think I should say "everything happens for a reason" but the first one sounded better in my minds ^^
My mum is completely against tattoos, so I won't even ask for them to pay it ^^

I've heard about a chat when we only speak in English ?! Well, even if I'm only seventeen, I want to try with you guys, it can be really exciting !
In my opinion, the best way to learn the english language is to live or to travel in a anglophone country ! Even though the admissions policy is really selective to live there, trying is the only way !
If you already have a family in France, or you don't have the money to travel and above all, you don't want to live the contry (which is understandable), you can try to talk with a anglophone corresponding that you can find on famous website as twitter, facebook or even instagram etc...
Whatever, learning english is a work, a hard one. Fortunately, everyone can do it !

And you're right, living in an English-speaking country is the best way to learn, even though I keep making mistakes and I don't really feel like I've improved my English

To be honest with you, I was born in France even though my father was from england... Then he taught me how to speak in english when I was younger, then I'm substantially billingual.
Now that I have the luck to talk in English, I wish that I could learn Japan (What I actually try to do ahah) !

You have to know that you're english is really good too, don't worry about tomorrow, with your level and your facility for talking to a stranger in english, a twenty won't surprise me at all !

I wish I could speak German too, I'm thinking of taking classes next year to keep learning it! You're very lucky to have an English dad, I guess it's easier when you learn a language from a very young age

I love the English language more than anything. I wish I could make it tangible so I could bask and revel in it. And it sounded so much better in my head

Anyway, it's a pleasure to see I'm not the only one who enjoys speaking or writing in English. I think I'm going to be around a lot now!
