I am found of English.
Unfortunately, I'm not totally bilingual.

That is why I am trying to communicate with others people in English.



So, I open this subject. I would like here we speak only in English.
Therefore, the forum rules will apply.
Good humor, advice to improve ourselves in the practice of this language are welcome here.
And of course, google translator is totally prohibited because it says just about anythings.

You're lucky, I have been to Lamotte one time in 2014, but since this time I had to stop competitions because of my studies I would like so much to go there again, you will enjoy it !

in Club 2 because it's my first year of competition

I had to stop riding during my studies too... a long time to wait, but it's really good when you come back to the barn with enough money to do all what you want!

Hello !

This week end was great for me, Friday I rode my mare and she was good ! Saturday morning, I rode my pony, she was good too ! In afternoon, I went to the club and I rode my favorite pony, we have done PTV exercises, that was great and sunday, I have jumped with my mare

But I revised too because I have end of term exam this week and the next week ( I don't know if this is the good world but my dictionnary said that) !

I'm glad to hear that all of you had a lovely weekend! I spent a few days in London with my friend, we went to my campus last night and back to London today so that she could go back home... Now time for some revisions before the exams!

Hello everybody!
How are you?

Me, I'm fine.

I had a classe with my prof' the last week.
I began the irregular verbs etc...

(I was begun? or I began? I don't know grrr....I confound....)

This week, I don't classe, because my prof' she can't.

I revise alone.
The bases, and my verbs...

Today it' raining!

iris600 Hi! I think you should say "I begun" in your sentence, but I might be wrong (it's definitely not "I was begun" because it would mean "j'ai été commencé [par quelqu'un])
Good luck for your verbs, I've never had to learn it but I know it's such a pain!
I'm still revising for my exams at the moment, I need a breeeaaaaaak and it's raining again !

Mhhh I Begun? Not I began?

For me I begun it's = je commençais
I began = j'ai commencé

I think...

I've difficulties to understand the different conjugation....

Preterit, pas participe, with was etc....

iris600 Oh yeah, my bad... You can either say "I began" (= prétérit) or "I have begun" (present perfect). It's a little bit tricky to know which one to use in which circumtances and I must admit I'm a little bit too tired to explain more ^^'

My first exam is next Monday and then the other one is on the following Friday! I can't wait for everything to be over, it's really stressing me out and I'm really exhausted

I'm not a student anymore, graduated last year...
Can you believe I'm kind of missing exams??

I train my brain with my horse theory book now lol... I did the 5th "gallop" in February, I'm working on the 6th now, so much to learn omg!!!

kisara I guess I know how you feel, I'm almost done with uni (only 2 more years to go) and I love learning things everyday. I'm just getting really bored at the moment and I can't wait for exams to be over (especially because most of my friends don't have any exams)

How are you all today? Last night I figured out what kind of tattoo I wanted, now I can't wait to do it!

Same thing here! I love to learn, more and more...
I think about to learn another language by myself, but I don't have anyone to pratice. I already speak in French (obviously), English, German and Korean. I wanna try Spanish or Italian.

Oh what kind of tattoo do you want?
I have 3! And I try to convince myself that I don't need a 4th lol!

kisara I wish I could speak more languages, but I also want to become fully bilingual before starting to learn a new one ^^ (and I'm not there yet!)

I'd like to tattoo "it all happens for a reason" below my elbow, on the inside, but the more I think of it, the clumsier the sentence sounds :/ Plus, I'll have to convince my parents that I'm not gonna turn into a gangster just because I have something tattooed on my body ^^
